Our teachers have been trained in therapeutic forms of yoga that focus on modifying poses to suit the needs and goals of the individual student. By moving slowly and deeply into each pose students begin to understand and integrate the healing powers of each asana.

Diane Roberts (founder of the Foundation Yoga Center) is a Certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist who has been studying alternative therapies for almost 30 years. She created Foundation Yoga, a synthesis of the most healing styles of Yoga, and healed her own serious back injury. She then began helping others to recover from injury, illness, and chronic pain through individualized Yoga practice. Roberts teaches weekly classes, leads retreats and workshops and has written for Family Circle. She has been interviewed by ABC's 20/20, CNN, Health Magazine, San Diego Union-Tribune, and the Yoga Journal for her work with pain relief, stress relief, and healing through yoga.
Drawing from the principles of Viniyoga, Iyengar, and Synergy Yoga systems, Susanne creates a practice that builds foundation and stability in the body. She combines her enthusiasm and love of yoga with the knowledge of alignment and body mechanics. Her clear, easy-to-follow instructions encourage students of all levels to learn the poses from the inside out. She has been practicing yoga and continuing her interest in holistic healing and spirituality for over 25 years.
Wendy holds a BS degree in Physical Education from the University of New Hampshire and has trained and taught at Foundation Yoga for 5 years. She completed her 400-hour Teacher Training with Todd Norian in the Anusara style and has studied extensively with John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga. She brings clear, individualized instruction to her classes that are based on precise bio-mechanical principles of alignment, inner body awareness, and a celebration of the heart.
Donna holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, and after years of training she received certification by Patricia O'Rielly in Viniyoga, the tradition of TKV Desikachar. She has been teaching and leading retreats in California for over 20 years and is known for her clear and compassionate teaching style that emphasizes breath and the intelligent sequencing of poses to increase strength and flexibility safely.
Camilla Sinclair is a Yoga Instructor. Camilla holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and received her Holistic Health Practitioners diploma in 1999. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Herbalist and Cranial Sacral Therapist who continues her Post graduate studies in Somatic Experiencing for Trauma Resolution.
